Sharjah Archeology Authority organized a virtual lecture entitled “Scientific Methodology for Examination and Analysis of Wood Antiquities and Evaluation of Treatment and Maintenance Methods”, in which researcher Mohamed Mostafa, a master’s student at the Egyptian Japanese University of Science and Technology, a timber restorer at the Egyptian Museum, spoke about how the restorer chose his tools and the restoration plan. And why do we restore. The number of attendees exceeded 120 participants of those who are interested in preserving antiquities from inside and outside the UAE.

Sharjah Archeology Authority organized a virtual lecture entitled “The Antiquities of Mleiha and its importance in the Arabian Peninsula”, in which Issa Yousef, Director of the Department of Antiquities at the Sharjah Archeology Authority, spoke about Mleiha and its position throughout history as an area of human settlement thousands of years ago, and its strategic geographical location, in addition to its importance as an archaeological area replete with finds and physical remains, the number of attendees exceeded 170 participants of those who are interested in preserving antiquities from inside and outside the UAE

Sharjah Archaeology Authority organized a virtual lecture entitled “The Archaeological and cultural heritage of the Old City of Luxor” for researcher Dr. Khaled Essam al-Din, from the great Egyptian Museum at the Ministry of Tourism and antiquities, in which he talked about the history of the ancient city of Luxor, and the religious, cultural and social heritage during the Ptolemaic and Roman eras, the number of attendees exceeded 140 participants of those who are interested in the preservation of antiquities from inside and outside the state.

The number of attendees exceeded 130 participants who are interested in preserving antiquities from inside and outside the UAE.

‘The Sharjah Archeology Authority organized a virtual lecture entitled “Surveying and excavation work in Islamic antiquities in the deserts… the Sinai desert as a model”, in which the researcher and expert specializing in Islamic antiquities, Dr. Sami Saleh Al-Bayadi, Director General of North Sinai Antiquities Affairs at the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, spoke about the importance of building the history of the Sinai desert in general, and the Islamic history and antiquities in this desert, which differs from all deserts in Egypt, the lecture was attended by more than 180 participants who are interested in preserving antiquities from inside and outside the state.

Issa Yusuf, Director of antiquities at Sharjah Archaeology Authority, gave a lecture via “zoom” program entitled” The leading role of archaeological discoveries in the emirate of Sharjah”, in which he touched on the most important archaeological sites in the smiling emirate in Mleiha, Jebel Faya, Jebel bheis, Suhaila , Dibba Al Hosn, Wadi Al Helu and various archaeological sites that witnessed excavations and revealed ancient human settlement in Sharjah. In his lecture, Youssef highlighted these discoveries, which have been found because of their cultural connotations in the region and in the southeast of the Arabian Peninsula.
