Objectives and powers of Sharjah Archaeology Authority

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, a member of the Supreme Council and the Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah, has consistently issued laws regulating work within the departments and entities of Sharjah as a whole. This is in accordance with the public interest of the Emirate. These laws are not copied from the various laws of the state in all its fields but rather complement and regulate internal affairs of the Emirate.

Based on this approach, His Highness has issued several laws and decrees related to antiquities, regulating their work in the Emirate of Sharjah, meticulously addressing every detail within this scope. Nothing is left to chance; rather, it operates within a law that is implemented, each within their field of specialization, profession, and workplace.
