Sharjah Archaeology Authority organized a remote lecture, according via Zoom application, entitled “The Importance of Examination and Analysis of Archaeological Materials”, by Professor Dr. Shaban Al-Amir, Professor of Archaeology Restoration and Maintenance, at the Faculty of Archaeology at Fayoum University, in Arab Republic of Egypt.

The lecturer pointed out that these archaeological and heritage materials suffer from damage factors and forces, so “physical and chemical changes” occur for archaeological materials.

The solution comes, when we carry out careful checks with a scientific vision, to develop a treatment, restoration, and maintenance plan and a comprehensive view of storage, or for a museum display.
The lecturer answered all of the questions asked by the participants, in the presence of nearly 200 viewers.
