Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- Manuscripts must be submitted in .doc or .docx format.
- The research must not have been previously published or submitted to another journal, nor be part of a published book.
- Authors agree to transfer full copyright to the journal. Should the journal wish to republish the work, written permission from the author will be obtained.
- Authors must disclose any sources of research, funding or support.
- Authors must comply with the journal’s author guidelines and publication ethics policies.

The Sharjah Journal of Archaeological Studies is committed to applying internationally approved academic publishing standards that align with the requirements of global databases, including those of international indexing databases, to ensure the protection of authors' rights and the integrity of the published scientific content.
By submitting a research paper for publication in the Journal, the author acknowledges that the work is original and has not been previously published. Upon acceptance of the research for publication, the author agrees to transfer copyright to the Journal, while retaining the right to use their work for non-commercial academic and educational purposes. This is subject to the condition of clearly citing the original publication in the Journal.
The research, or any parts thereof, may not be republished, translated, stored in information retrieval systems, broadcast, or distributed by any means-whether in print or electronic format-without obtaining prior written consent from the Journal's management.
