Stone spindle head, still under study.Spinning wheels have been known on the shores of the Mediterranean since the fourth millennium BC. It can be of flat, spherical, conical or cylindrical shapes. It has various dimensions. And its existence refers to the craft of spinning plant and animal fibers to form yarns such as wool.
