This article discusses the role of Rhodian amphorae in the wine trade between Rhodes and pre-Islamic Arabia. It highlights the importance of Rhodian amphora stamps for dating archaeological sites and understanding trade routes. The article also explores the reuse of Rhodian amphorae in Arabia, using Mleiha as a case study. It concludes by emphasizing the need for further research on Rhodian amphorae from Arabia to reconstruct trade patterns and burial practices during the Hellenistic era.
