Discoveries and Excavations in Salah Al-Din Al-Ayoubi Castle in the Chest of the Soldier in Sinai

Sharjah Archaeology Authority hosted a lecture by Dr. Sami Al-Bayadi on Monday evening, January 3, 2022 via Zoom platform, entitled “Discoveries and Excavations in Salah Al-Din Al-Ayoubi Castle in the Chest of the Soldier in Sinai” (Thirty Years of Research, Discovery, and Excavation)”, in which he introduced Salah Al-Din Al-Ayoubi Castle in the Chest of the Soldier in Sinai in terms of being a very important Islamic monument, indicating the value of this castle and its role in unifying the home front against the Franks and then liberating Jerusalem, and stressing the importance of archaeological excavations in investigating and writing the hidden and forgotten history of the castle.
