This paper presents chemical and theoretical analyzes of glass from the first century AD, which was excavated in Dibba Al-Hisn (Sharjah – United Arab Emirates). These analyzes revealed the unique elemental and isotopic composition of these materials, which match local geology and provide a strong argument for a previously unknown – possibly local – production site for this material.
