This paper presents recent archaeological evidence from the port city of Dibba Al-Hisn – United Arab Emirates, examines the discoveries of both ceramics and elite materials, and illustrates the fact that there is an extensive maritime trade network linking this part of the southeastern Arabian Peninsula with the wider Indian Ocean world .
