As part of Sharjah Archaeology authority’s keenness to promote the culture of archaeological awareness among the general community and to open the field to specialists with experience in archaeological work, the authority organized a virtual lecture via the “zoom” program, entitled “Archaeology and its importance between theory and practice”, Presented by researcher Dr. Ahmed Hefni Al-Badawi, in the presence of more than 150 participants who are interested in the field of restoration of buildings and monuments, an electronic certificates of attendance were given to participants. During the lecture, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badawi reviewed the definition of Archaeology and its importance in archaeological work, the history of the genesis of archaeology, as well as the means of inferring archaeological sites.
